ABOUT THE BREED
The Nederlandse Kooikerhondje was developed in The Netherlands as a duck tolling dog. Its trainable nature, intelligence and strong desire to please make the Kooiker well suited to many endeavors.
The main health clearances to look for in a Kooiker are DNA, patellas, eyes, and hips; but a knowledgeable breeder should be able to answer your questions about any health concerns in the breed.
